Dakarai Griffin has extensive experience in nonprofit management and community support, currently serving as Deputy Director at the Center for NYC Neighborhoods since September 2017, where responsibilities include aiding homeowners with legal and housing challenges post-Hurricane Sandy. Previous roles at the same organization include Senior Program Manager and Program Manager, alongside a position as Community Fellows Program member at the Institute for Nonprofit Practice. Earlier experience includes serving as a Supervisor and Program Associate at the Center for NYC Neighborhoods and working as a Student Advocate at Harlem Children's Zone. Dakarai Griffin began a career in education at Aim High, taking on roles from Student to Lead Teacher. Holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Langston University, earned between 2009 and 2013, further supports the commitment to community-centered work.
