Shane Kirby is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in educational partnerships, grant development, and marketing. Currently serving as the Director of Advancement Partnerships at Columbus State Community College, Shane has successfully secured over $110 million in funding since 2014 through strategic grant proposals. In addition to this role, Shane is a Principal Investigator for the NSF EPIIC ETCHING Cohort and serves as a Senior Advisor for the National Information Technology Innovation Center. Other significant positions include Executive Director for the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program in Columbus, and various roles in grant coordination and curriculum development within the college. As the founder of KIRBY PLANNING AND CONSULTING, LLC, Shane also operates as an Independent Insurance Agent. Shane holds an MBA with a finance concentration and a double major in Finance and Marketing.
