Tracey Lloyd

SVP, Science at Center for Policing Equity

Tracey Lloyd is the Senior Vice President of Science at Center for Policing Equity. Tracey has held this position since August 2019. Prior to that, they were the Principal Research Scientist at the Center from December 2009 to December 2013.

Lloyd received their PhD in sociology from Harvard University in 2015. Tracey was a Doctoral Fellow and Researcher at the University from August 2008 to May 2015. In July 2015, they became a Senior Research Associate at Urban Institute, where they worked until December 2019. From December 2004 to December 2007, they were a Research Associate at the Justice Policy Center of The Urban Institute.

Before pursuing their PhD, Lloyd was a high school teacher in Baltimore City Public Schools from December 2001 to December 2004.

Tracey Lloyd has a Ph.D. in Sociology and Social Policy from Harvard University, an M.A. in Sociology from Harvard University, and a BS in Administration of Justice and Spanish from Penn State University.
