Alden Penn

Alden Penn, FCAS, currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Data Science at Vantage Risk Companies, a position held since September 2025. Prior to this role, Alden was the Global Head of Short-Tail Pricing at Sompo International from May 2023 to September 2025. Alden's extensive experience includes leadership roles at Zurich North America as the Head of Data & Analytics for National Accounts and as the Data & Analytics Lead for US Commercial Insurance from December 2019 to May 2023. During a tenure at Chubb from June 2008 to December 2019, Alden held the position of Vice President, Predictive Analytics Manager, and also contributed as a Senior Capital Modeling Officer. Alden's early career involved software development in various sectors from October 1999 to June 2005. Alden earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Columbia University, graduating in 2008.
