Michelle Dees

Michelle Dees has extensive experience in strategy, operations, and business development. Michelle started their career as the Director of the Children's Home at Guyana Red Cross Society from September 1997 to June 2000. Michelle then worked at Javelin Pharmaceuticals as a Manager of Business Development from September 2001 to January 2005. Michelle joined the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative (IAVI) in October 2005 as the Vice President of Strategy and Operations, a role they held until June 2017. Currently, they serve as the Chief Strategy and Operations Officer at the Center for Reproductive Rights since July 2017.

Michelle Dees obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Ivey Business School at Western University, from 2000 to 2002. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Biotechnology from the University of Waterloo, from 1992 to 1997.
