James Kress

James Kress, MA, DD, currently serves as the Learning and Development Manager at Seattle Credit Union and is also a Staff Minister at the Center for Spiritual Living - Seattle. With extensive experience in leadership roles, James has been a Leadership Development Coach at the Co-Active Training Institute since April 2020, and previously held multiple positions at BECU, including Program Manager and Retail Delivery Onboarding Manager from February 2018 to October 2023. James's career in pastoral ministry spans from June 1989 to December 2017, encompassing roles such as Senior Pastor, Church Planter, and Marriage Counselor. Additional experience includes management positions at Target Corporation, Nordstrom, Bank of America, and as a professor at Puget Sound Christian College. James holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington, a Master of Arts in Theology and Religion from Liberty University, and a Doctor of Divinity from Emerson Theological Institute.
