Tyler Hacker is a Research Fellow at the Center for Strategic and Budgetary Assessments (CSBA) since June 2021, having previously served as an Analyst at the Congressional Research Service from August 2020 to April 2021, where the focus was on Defense Logistics. Prior experience includes a position as a Defense Budget and Military Strategy Intern at the American Enterprise Institute in mid-2020 and a role as a Field Artillery Officer in the U.S. Army from May 2015 to June 2019. Additionally, Tyler Hacker interned at the Peacekeeping and Stability Operations Institute - U.S. Army War College in the summer of 2014. Academic credentials include a Master of Arts in Security Studies from Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service, earned in May 2021, and a Bachelor's Degree in International Studies and Political Science with a focus on National Security Policy from the Virginia Military Institute, completed in 2015.
