Dr Robert Perel

Dr. Robert Perel is a distinguished Cardiologist and Cardiac Electrophysiologist, currently serving as the Chair of the Board of Directors at Queensland Cardiovascular Group since July 2013. With advanced expertise in arrhythmias and cardiac implanted devices such as pacemakers and ICDs, Dr. Perel holds fellowships from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand, and the Heart Rhythm Society. Additionally, Dr. Perel is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has extensive experience with multiple healthcare organizations, including Atrial Fibrillation Institute, Mater, Ramsay Health Care, and St Andrews War Memorial Hospital. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from The University of Queensland, a veterinary science degree, and specialized fellowships in clinical cardiac electrophysiology from the University of Toronto.
