Drewlina Jean

Drewlina Jean is a Student & Family Engagement Coordinator working with New Heights Middle School in New York City. In this role, Drewlina is responsible for the day-to-day management of New Heights Middle School’s community school student & family engagement strategy, maintaining the bridge between the school and the community, and supporting initiatives that help students succeed in their attendance, social-emotional development, and academic endeavors. Prior to joining CSS, she was an academic interventionist monitoring the academic progress of students and supplying support for those who had learning difficulties and were at risk of falling behind in their academic studies. Drewlina received her bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in social work from SUNY College at Old Westbury.
