Leonisa Johnson

Leonisa Johnson is an experienced educator and community leader currently serving as the Community School Director at the Center for Supportive Schools since January 2023. Previously, Leonisa spent over six years at Edible Schoolyard NYC in roles including Educator and Program Manager, overseeing educational programs and curriculum focused on kitchen and garden education for over 700 students. Leonisa also has a background as a Kitchen Teacher and gained experience in communications and event planning through positions at CAMBA, SheChef Inc., VibeVixen.com, and Global Grind. Leonisa holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Creative Writing from the State University of New York at Oswego and a Certificate in Publishing from New York University.
