Sharon Rose Powell

Sharon Rose Powell, Ed.D., is the Founder of CSS. An educator and leadership training consultant for over 30 years, Dr. Powell has developed numerous peer leadership models, beginning with the comprehensive Peer Group Connection program in 1979. She is a frequent presenter at public forums that focus on teacher professional development initiatives, leadership training, and the developmental issues of adolescents during critical transitions in their lives. Dr. Powell is currently in a private practice as a licensed psychologist for adolescents, couples and families in the Princeton area. She holds a doctorate in counseling psychology from the Graduate School of Education (GSE) at Rutgers University; a master’s degree from the GSE at the University of California, Berkeley; and a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
