Sylvia Fong is an experienced HR executive with a robust background in talent strategy and organizational development across various industries. Currently serving as a Board Member for the Center for the Pacific Asian Family since January 2022, Sylvia previously held significant roles at Kimberly-Clark from 2013 to 2019 as VP of Human Resources for the APAC region, and at jcpenney from June 2012 to March 2013 as Division VP of Talent. Additional leadership positions include VP of Total Rewards and Corporate HR at Dean Foods (2007-2012), HR Director roles at Lennox International, and Ericsson, and extensive experience at BP/Atlantic Richfield Company and the Los Angeles Times. Sylvia earned a BA in Social Welfare from the University of California, Berkeley.

Center for the Pacific Asian Family (CPAF) was founded to help address domestic violence and sexual assault in the Asian and Pacific Islander communities. Our mission is to build healthy and safe communities by addressing the root causes and the consequences of family violence and violence against women. Our vision is of an Asian and Pacific Islander community that embraces healthy relationships and works in partnership with other communities to eradicate all forms of violence.
