Alana Mondragon

Alana Mondragon, SHRM-CP, has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Alana currently holds the position of Director of Human Resources at the Center for Transforming Lives since March 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Human Resources at Apogee Foods from the start of 2022 until March 2023.

From September 2020 to December 2022, Alana worked as the Director of Employee Engagement and Development at Brinks Home. Before that, they had a significant tenure at Nielsen, where they held the position of Global Leader from July 2015 to October 2020, and Senior Operations Manager from April 2012 to July 2015.

In 2010, Alana worked as a Production Assistant at WFAA Media, a TEGNA Company, and from January 2006 to January 2011, they served as a Market Manager at ETAN Industries. Throughout their career, Alana has gained valuable experience in human resources, employee engagement, development, and operations management.

Alana Mondragon, SHRM-CP, has a diverse education history. In 2006, they obtained a Diploma in Theology/Theological Studies from Christ for the Nations. Alana then attended Connecticut School of Broadcasting from 2008 to 2009, where they obtained a Diploma in Broadcast Journalism. Alana continued their education at Dallas Baptist University, earning a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from 2010 to 2011. In 2012, they pursued a Dual Master's program at Dallas Baptist University, specializing in Communications and Management. Alana furthered their education by completing a Master's in Communication and Management at Dallas Baptist University. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM in February 2023. Alana also completed a Spanish Translation certification from The University of Texas at Arlington in August 2015.
