Amanda Spann

Amanda Spann is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in entrepreneurship, innovation, and economic development. Currently serving as the Innovation Leadership Program Manager at the Center on Rural Innovation since February 2024, Amanda leads a program aimed at enhancing rural tech leadership. As a Startup & Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Consultant at UVI Research and Technology Park, Amanda focuses on reducing tourism dependence in the Virgin Islands through business initiatives. Additionally, Amanda founded Happii, an innovation hub supporting product development and app entrepreneurship, and directed community growth as the Head of Community at Tech Beach Retreat. Educational qualifications include a Master of Professional Studies in Public Relations/Corporate Communications from Georgetown University and dual bachelor’s degrees in Merchandising and Communication Studies from Florida State University.
