Aja Houston

Aja Houston is currently a teaching artist at Center Theatre Group. Aja has also worked as a dramaturgy consultant at Harvard-Westlake School and as a graduate teaching assistant at University of Southern California.

Aja Houston has been working in the theatre industry for many years. Aja has a passion for educating and nurturing young talent. Her work as a dramaturgy consultant allows their to help students develop their writing skills and better understand the process of creating a play. As a graduate teaching assistant, they were responsible for providing support to professors and students alike. Aja is known for their dedication to their work and their commitment to providing a positive learning experience for all students.

Aja Houston has a Master of Fine Arts in Dramatic Writing from the University of Southern California, a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Performance from Pitzer College, and a Certificate of Completion in Classical Theatre/Shakespeare from the London Dramatic Academy.

Aja Houston reports to Traci Kwon, Arts Education Initiatives Director. Aja Houston works with Estela Garcia - Teaching Artist, Debra Piver - Teaching Artist, and Jo Nuñez - Theatre Archival Fellow.
