Bernard Addison

Bernard Addison is an experienced voice and speech instructor and teaching artist, currently working as a CTE Teacher at Los Angeles High School of the Arts since August 2011, where instruction focuses on breathing and articulation for acting and life applications. Bernard also serves as a commercial client at LW1 Agency since May 2009 and has held the position of Teaching Artist at Center Theatre Group since 2000. Previous roles include Voice and Speech Instructor at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy from July 2012 to June 2013, and instructor at Acting Studios of Beverly Hills from June 2011 to July 2012. Additional experience as an actor includes performances at Fountain Theatre and other theaters, along with educational contributions to The Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles. Bernard holds an MFA in Acting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BA in Theatre and Speech from the University of South Carolina.
