Candice Walters

Candice Walters is currently the Associate Director of Marketing Operations at the Center Theatre Group. Candice has been with the organization since January of 2012, and in their current role they are responsible for managing the selection, generation, and distribution of leads based on sales targets. Additionally, they provide support and guidance to staff, solves patron issues, disseminates pertinent up-to-date information to staff, answers phone lines, and maintains accurate daily sales records.

Before their current role, Ms. Walters served as the Education Fellow at Berkeley Repertory Theatre from August 2010 to July 2011. In this role they were responsible for coordinating educational programs and events for the theatre. Additionally, they created educational materials for use in the classroom and assisted with the development of new educational programs.

Ms. Walters began their career as an Artistic Intern at StageNorfolk from January 2010 to May 2010. In this role they assisted with the production of various theatrical productions. Additionally, they provided support to the artistic staff and helped with the development of new programming.

Prior to their work in the theatre industry, Ms. Walters served as a personal assistant to a Tony-nominated actor from June 2007 to August 2007. In this role they provided administrative support and helped with the actor’s day-to-day schedule.

Candice Walters pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Hampton University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Candice then went on to earn a Master of Arts in Theatre Studies from Regent University.

Candice Walters reports to Deborah Warren, Director of Marketing. They work with Marcy Paniagua - Social Media Associate, Deanna McClure - Art & Design Director, and Emyli Gudmundson - Associate Director, Advertising & Creative Content.
