Monique Sypkens is an experienced arts educator currently working at Center Theatre Group since February 2023. In addition to this role, Monique has been performing with Pure Praxis since November 2015 and serves as a teaching artist with The Unusual Suspects Theatre Company since August 2015. Monique has a rich history in the performing arts as a self-employed actress and model since 1993. Past experience includes working as a merchandiser for RMD Group Inc. and Disney Broadway's Mary Poppins, as well as community outreach at Homeboy Industries. Monique also provided office support at Model Home Accents, LLC. Monique holds a BA in Theatre Arts from Long Beach State, earned between 2011 and 2015, and graduated from Franklin High School in 2011.
