Paula Matallana

Paula Matallana is an experienced professional with a background in arts management, grant writing, and communications. Currently serving as the Associate Director of Institutional Grants at Center Theatre Group since November 2019, Paula has previously held roles as a Grants Manager and Grants Writer within the same organization. Prior to that, Paula worked as a self-employed graphic designer and communications consultant, creating marketing materials and managing digital platforms for nonprofit organizations. Experience at IMPACT Silver Spring included serving as a Development and Communications Specialist, where responsibilities encompassed coordinating fundraising events and managing donor relations. Paula has also held various internship and program roles that focused on organizational support and community engagement, complemented by a Master of Arts in Arts Management from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Arts in Fine and Studio Arts from Grinnell College.
