Clariz Mariano

Clariz Mariano has been in the software engineering industry since 2008. In 2008, they worked as a Software Engineer at GXS, where they worked on projects outsourced by major companies. From 2011 to 2015, they worked at Boomzap Entertainment as a Senior Designer, Junior Designer, and QA Tester/Design Trainee. During this time, they co-authored story lines, created marketing materials, and developed award-winning games. From 2015 to 2018, they worked at CRP Securities as a Frontend Web Developer, where they migrated the company's static website to a responsive web design. From 2018 to 2020, they worked at Xinova and Bundle Bee as a Software Engineer, where they refactored a live app and designed and implemented a skills-rating service. Lastly, from 2020 to present, they have been working at Center (getcenter.com) as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer. At Amazon, they wrote a lightweight approval workflow and designed and implemented a planning tool.

Clariz Mariano obtained a BS in Information Technology with a field of study in Interactive Multimedia Design and Animation from St. Scholastica's College, Manila. In 2018, they obtained a certification in Interaction Design Specialization from Coursera. Additionally, they hold an Open Water Scuba Diver certification from PADI.
