K.C. has over fifteen years of experience in the hedge fund space. Prior to joining CenterBook Partners, K.C. Co-Founded Factor Sentiment Analytics (“FSA”), a quantitative market research firm. K.C. was also the Founder and General Partner of AQIS, a systematic equity long/short hedge fund. Before launching AQIS and FSA, K.C. was a member of the investment team at North Star Partners, a small-cap, value-oriented long/short equity hedge fund which K.C. joined as an Analyst. Prior to joining North Star, K.C. was an Analyst with Post Road Capital, a value-oriented long/short equity hedge fund. K.C.’s research articles have been featured in Absolute Return, the Novus blog, and in July of 2020, K.C. was a featured podcast guest on Season Three of Flirting with Models, a quantitative investing podcast. K.C. has served as a board member of real estate and hospitality firm Reserve Rentals as well as My Money Workshop, a not-for-profit organization teaching personal fiscal responsibility. K.C. holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
