Faidat Abiola

Faidat Abiola has a diverse work experience spanning various healthcare and educational roles. Faidat began their professional journey as a Physician Shadow at Massey Street Children General Hospital in Nigeria, where they gained exposure to neonatal, neurosurgery, emergency, and outpatient departments. Faidat then worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at California State University, Stanislaus. Faidat's passion for healthcare continued as they served as a Health Administrative Intern at Stanislaus Public Health Service Agency, focusing on sexual health.

In 2018, Faidat relocated to the United States and became a Front Desk Receptionist at the International Rescue Committee. Faidat later took on the role of a Special Educator at Roman Empire Living Skills Inc., where they provided support to individuals with special needs. Faidat also served as an Educator at Peer Health Exchange, working with California State University Northridge to educate students on health-related topics.

Faidat'scommitment to healthcare led their to the Los Angeles County Office of Women's Health, where they gained valuable experience as an MPH intern. During this time, Faidat also worked as a Health Scholar at COPE Health Scholars in partnership with UCLA Executive Programs in Health Policy and Management. Faidat received comprehensive training on the U.S. healthcare system, clinical best practices, and patient care. Faidat completed rotations in various departments, including NICU/L&D, telemetry, emergency, GI lab, ICU, and medical surgery.

Most recently, Faidat joined the Center for Autism and Related Disorders, LLC. as a Behavioral Health Technician. In this role, they apply their knowledge and skills to support individuals with autism and related disorders.
