Rachel Russell has a diverse work experience across different industries. Rachel worked as a Behavioral Health Technician at the Center for Autism and Related Disorders, LLC. (CARD), where they implemented behavioral health concepts for teenage clients. While working there, they became a Board Certified Autism Technician (BCAT). Rachel also worked as a Laboratory Technician at NeoGenomics Laboratories, where they conducted PCR tests on COVID samples. Rachel gained a deeper understanding of biochemical assays and contributed to pandemic efforts. At Tulane University, Rachel was a Graduate Research Student and an Undergraduate Researcher. Rachel conducted research in the Biomechanics of Growth and Remodeling lab, focusing on women's reproductive health. Rachel developed an ELISA assay for desmosine and performed histology and analysis on female mice reproductive tissues. Rachel also worked as a JRCOSTEP Extern at the Indian Health Service and as an Intern at U. S. Public Health Service Phoenix Indian Medical Center, where they analyzed patient data, conducted literature research, and handled office tasks.
Rachel Russell completed a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Tulane University in 2019. Rachel then went on to pursue a Master of Science (MS) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at Tulane University from 2019 to 2020.
