Ziad Farah, MD MBA has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Ziad currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer at CenterLight Health System. Previously, they worked at Tufts Medical Center as an Attending Physician- Primary Care and Geriatric Medicine, where they played a key role in expanding bed capacity during the COVID-19 pandemic through the Hospital at Home program.

Ziad also served as the New York Market Medical Director at Cityblock Health, where they managed market performance, provided medical operational oversight, and established relationships with hospital systems and physician organizations.

At ConcertoCare, Geriatric Primary Care, Ziad held the position of Associate Chief Medical Officer, overseeing strategic direction and daily operations in the Massachusetts market. Ziad also developed performance metrics, managed provider performance, and contributed to the growth strategy of bringing a medical model to Assisted Living Facilities.

Prior to that, they worked as the Chief Medical Officer, SVP Medical Affairs and Quality at Lawrence General Hospital, where they provided oversight on physician groups and physician service agreements, and focused on safety, efficiency outcomes management, and patient experience. Additionally, they served as the Chief Quality Officer and the Medical Director of the Hospitalist Program at Lawrence General Hospital.

Ziad also has experience as the Associate Medical Director at Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated a strong focus on quality improvement, patient care, and strategic leadership in various healthcare settings.

Ziad Farah, MD MBA, completed their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Medicine at Damascus University from 1997 to 2004. Following that, they pursued further education in the field of Internal Medicine by completing the American Board of Internal Medicine residency program at the University at Buffalo from 2006 to 2009. Subsequently, they obtained board certification in Internal Medicine from the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) in December 2018.

Further expanding their knowledge and expertise, Ziad undertook a Geriatric Medicine Fellowship at Boston University School of Medicine from 2009 to 2010, ultimately achieving board certification in Geriatric Medicine from the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) in August 2010. Additionally, they acquired the Massachusetts Medical License from the Board of Registration In Medicine in November 2018.

In order to develop their skills in healthcare administration and management, Ziad pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Health/Health Care Administration/Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2016 to 2020.

Ziad's commitment to providing comprehensive medical care is evident through their certification in Hospice and Palliative Care from the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) obtained in November 2012.
