James Fawvor

James Fawvor is an experienced IT Network Security Team Lead at CenterPoint Energy since June 2018, focusing on integrating new company infrastructure into the corporate network. Prior to this, James served as a Senior Network Security Engineer at McDermott International Inc. from August 2014 to June 2018, where significant achievements included the installation of Palo Alto firewalls and Blue Coat proxies. James also held various IT consultant roles from 2012 to 2014, providing services across different companies, including maintaining firewalls, implementing network access controls, and developing complete network solutions. James began an extensive career in network administration with the US Army, managing a wide range of network security tasks and equipment. James earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Maryland Global Campus between 2006 and 2011.
