Benroy Shimotani

Benroy Shimotani is a seasoned professional with experience in mental health, quality management, and public policy. Currently serving as a Mental Health Technician at CenterPointe Hospital since January 2021, Benroy leads group therapy sessions and assesses patient progress. Previously, Benroy worked as a Quality Manager at Valley Industries from December 2017 to March 2020, where responsibilities included transitioning the company to ISO 9001:2015 standards and conducting internal audits. Experience also includes an internship at the City of Hazelwood MO, assisting with policy development and wellness initiatives, as well as roles in residential advising and fitness education at Truman State University. Benroy’s academic qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Public Policy Administration from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis and a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies and Political Science from Truman State University, complemented by language studies in French at Université Rennes 2.
