Mathew Thomas has a diverse work experience, starting in 2006 as a Facilities Assistant at BP. Mathew then progressed through various roles at BP, including Media Facilities Coordinator, Technical Projects, and Maintenance Systems Manager. In 2016, they joined Centerprise International as the Innovation Manager & Storage Specialist before becoming the Head of Research and Development. In 2019, Mathew joined T3N as the Chief Technical Officer. In 2020, they became the Chief Executive Officer at Country Eats.

Mathew Thomas started their education at Bradfield College from 1998 to 2003, where they studied Mathematics and Computer Science. Following that, they attended The University of Manchester from 2004 to 2006, focusing on Computer Science. Later, from 2007 to 2009, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Cinematography and Film/Video Production at SAE Institute Bangkok.

In addition to their formal education, Mathew Thomas has obtained various certifications. In 2018, they received the "Specialist - Technology Architect, Midrange Storage Solutions Version 1.0" certification from Dell EMC. In 2017, they obtained the "Converged Infrastructure Credential," "Data Protection Credential," "MidRange Storage Credential," and "Rack and Tower Server Credential" from the same institution. In 2015, they completed the "Advanced Driver Coaching" certification offered by IAM RoadSmart. Mathew also holds certifications such as "Windows Server & Active Directory Certification" from BP (2014), "Managing Safely" from IOSH (2014), and "PRINCE2 Practicioner" from APMG International (2013).
