Lucas Krist

Lucas Krist is a seasoned environmental professional with extensive experience in environmental coordination and engineering within the mining industry. Currently serving as the Senior Environmental Coordinator at Centerra Gold Inc., Lucas leads efforts to ensure compliance with environmental permits at the Kemess mine in British Columbia. Previously, Lucas worked at Golder as a Mine Water Resources Engineer, where responsibilities included mine water management analyses and hydrotechnical design. Experience also includes roles at Baffinland, Urbantech Consulting, and Canadian Nuclear Laboratories, showcasing a diverse background in environmental monitoring, regulatory compliance, and data analysis. Lucas holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Honours Environmental Engineering from the University of Waterloo and a Private Pilot License from Pacific Rim Aviation, set to be completed in April 2024.
