Stephanie Vaughn Bovell

Stephanie Vaughn Bovell currently serves as the Director of the Office of Human Capital at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services since September 2021, having previously held the position of Deputy Director in the same office. As a member of the Senior Executive Service, Stephanie contributes extensive experience in health administration and management. Additionally, since 2013, Stephanie has worked as an evaluator for the Leavitt School of Health at Western Governors University and served as the Deputy Associate Commissioner at the Social Security Administration from August 2020 to September 2021. Stephanie's educational background includes being a Doctoral Candidate in Public Health at Morgan State University, earning a Master of Science in Health Care Administration/Management from the University of Maryland, and obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Maryland at Baltimore.
