Rishi's experience spans machine learning, immuno-oncology, and drug development. At Y-Trap, he spearheads the development of multifunctional fusion proteins for cancer immunotherapy — leading to multiple internal programs advancing towards clinical development, as well as a partnership with Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany.
In collaboration with Distributed Bio and Rachel Hovde, he's developing deep learning methods for antibody engineering. He built the machine learning team at System1 Biosciences, leading the analysis of multi-omics and imaging datasets to identify deep phenotypes of neuropsychiatric diseases in cerebral organoids. He earned his BS and MS in Computer Science at Stanford, where he developed machine learning methods for structural biology in Ron Dror's group and started a class on space policy.
