Emelyn Gwynn

Emelyn Gwynn is a seasoned communications professional currently serving as a Communications & Public Relations Specialist at Centra Health since May 2024. Prior to this role, Emelyn worked as the Communications Manager for the City of Lynchburg's Office of Economic Development & Tourism from April 2019 to May 2024. Emelyn's experience also includes serving as the Main Street Coordinator and Communications lead for the Town of Altavista, where responsibilities included community outreach and directing the Altavista On Track board. Additional notable roles include program administration for the Pop-Up Altavista entrepreneurial initiative and experience as a Co-Starters Administrator for the City of Lynchburg's Office of Economic Development. Emelyn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication and Rhetoric from the University of Lynchburg.
