Jakub Matczak

Jakub Matczak is an experienced engineering manager and software developer with a diverse background in technology. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager at Centra since October 2021, Jakub oversees up to ten engineers, focusing on team communication, performance evaluations, and professional development. Previously, Jakub contributed as a Senior Software Engineer on the Integrations Team, where design and implementation of the Integration API (GraphQL) were critical. Jakub is also the owner of a software development services company since 2013. Additional experience includes a role as Senior PHP Developer at Sprzedajemy.pl, where contributions to a C2C marketplace involved full-stack development, and as a PHP Developer at AB S.A., responsible for maintaining B2B wholesale systems. Jakub's early career includes positions as a PHP Developer at MBIF Marcin Potoniec and an internship at PGS Software. Jakub holds a Master's degree in Informatics and an engineering degree in Information Systems from Wrocław University of Science and Technology.
