Sharon Mentzer

Sharon Mentzer, MPH, serves as the Neurosciences Program Coordinator at CentraCare since December 2021, where responsibilities include ensuring patient safety and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Previously, Sharon held the position of Executive Director at Safe Communities of Wright County from October 2020 to May 2022 and worked as an Exercise Physiologist at CentraCare Heart and Vascular Center from May 2002 to December 2021. Additionally, Sharon managed the Take Heart program from February 2018 to March 2021, focusing on community awareness of sudden cardiac arrest and coordinating CPR/AED training. In early 2019, Sharon completed a Graduate Public Health Practicum with Stearns County MN, which involved developing a prevention program for high-risk populations. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Health from the University of New England and a Bachelor of Science from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
