Fernando Khoury

Fernando Khoury has extensive experience in governance and legal advisory roles, serving as the Secretary of Governance and Governance Officer substitute at Eletrobras since April 2009. Responsibilities include supporting the Board of Directors and Committees, enhancing governance practices, ensuring communication flow between executive and deliberative bodies, and providing ongoing education for governance members. Prior to this, Fernando held various legal positions within Eletrobras, focusing on administrative, tax, labor, and environmental law aspects. Additionally, Fernando completed a legal residency at the Procuradoria Geral do Estado do Rio de Janeiro. Fernando holds a Bachelor's degree in Law from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, a Postgraduate degree in Tax Law from FGV, and a Bachelor's degree in Theology from Escola Teológica Reformada, among other qualifications in theology and corporate governance.
