Brent Clode, CFA has an extensive work experience in the finance industry. Brent started their career at CIBC World Markets as Director of US Finance in 2002. After that, they joined CIBC and served as the Director of Treasury and Risk Management Finance from 2005 to 2007. Brent then took on the role of Acting Controller Mortgages for a brief period from 2007 to 2008. In 2008, they moved to Manulife Financial, where they held various positions including AVP Treasury Finance, focusing on liquidity risk management, FX risk management, and derivative hedging strategies. In 2012, they were promoted to Vice President Treasury Risk Management, Funding, and Liquidity Operations until 2015. Currently, they are the Chief Investment Officer at Central 1 Credit Union, a position they have held since July 2015.
Brent Clode, CFA pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Administrative and Commercial Studies from Western University, completing it in the years 1990 to 1993. Subsequently, they went on to earn their Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Finance from McMaster University, studying from 1993 to 1996.
