Astrid Ibarra

Astrid Ibarra has over 27 years of experience in the banking and finance sector, currently serving in multiple managerial roles at Banco Centroamericano de Integración Económica (BCIE) since November 2011, including Gerencia de Países y Proyectos, Gerencia del Sector Privado, and Gerencia de Sectores y Países. Prior to BCIE, Astrid Ibarra held positions at Banco Industrial Guatemala from September 2001 to November 2011, focusing on corporate banking and financial management, and at Banco Agromercantil de Guatemala, S.A. from July 1996 to August 2001, where responsibilities included corporate banking and business development. Astrid Ibarra's educational background includes an MBA in Organizational Management with a specialization in Finance from Universidad de Valparaíso, along with various diplomas in renewable energy project development, green banking, gender equity policy implementation, Central American integration, Korean economic development, and exportation of non-traditional products from prestigious institutions.
