Nicole M. Pena is an accomplished development executive with extensive experience in nonprofit leadership. Currently serving as Chief Development Officer at Central Arizona Shelter Services since January 2025, Pena previously held the position of Vice President of Development at The Phoenix Symphony from September 2022 to January 2025. From 2007 until September 2022, Pena worked at Phoenix Rescue Mission, where roles included Chief Development Officer, Executive Director of Development, and Director of Public Relations. Earlier in their career, Pena was the Director of Drug Free AZ at Maricopa County Attorney's Office from June 1998 to September 2007. Nicole M. Pena earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and American History from the University of Arizona, graduating in 1998.
