Artur Hanyan

Head Of Information Technology Department at Central Bank of Armenia

Artur Hanyan has a strong background in banking supervision and IT management. Artur began their career in 2007 at the Central Bank of Armenia, where they held various roles such as Deputy Head of IT Department and Head of Division in IT and payment systems supervision. Artur also served as the Head of Division in Currency Operations Supervision. In these positions, Artur was responsible for developing work plans for bank supervision, leading on-site supervision teams, identifying risks and implementing action plans to minimize them.

In 2015, Artur worked as a Secondee at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in the Office of Compliance, Inspections, and Examinations.

Artur Hanyan attended the American University of Armenia from 2022 to 2023, where they pursued a Graduate Executive Certificate in Management. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Economics from Yerevan State University from 2012 to 2014. Artur also holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the same institution, earned between 2000 and 2004. Before entering university, Artur attended the Physics and Mathematics Specialized School named after A.L.Shahinyan from 1997 to 2000, although no specific degree or field of study information was provided for this period.
