Gevorg Tumanyan

Gevorg Tumanyan has a diverse work experience in the banking sector. Gevorg started their career in 1994 at the Central Bank of Armenia, where they served as the Head of the Cash Operations Department until 2006. In 2007, they joined the German-Armenian Fund PMU as the Director and held the position for over 13 years before returning to the Central Bank of Armenia in 2020. At the Central Bank, they first served as the Head of the Operations Department and is currently the Head of the Currency Issue and Numismatics Center.

From 1981 to 1986, Gevorg Tumanyan attended Moscow Geological Research University and obtained a Diploma in Economics. During their time there, they focused on studies in Economics, Geology, and Mining.
