Adeel Mushtaq

Adeel Mushtaq, FCCA, ACA, CIA, ACII, and CFA L2, currently serves as an Advisor at the Central Bank of Bahrain and as a Member of the Takaful Accounting Committee at the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI). Previous experience includes managing roles at Concitatus as Managing Director, overseeing investment operations at Lanner Investments LLC as Chief Operating Officer, and leading investment operations at Qatar Insurance Company. Adeel has also held key positions at Epicure Investment Management LLC, including MLRO, Board Secretary, and Head of Investment Operations. An extensive background encompasses director roles at EY and KPMG US, specializing in insurance and financial services audit and advisory. Adeel is a founder of the Takaful Research Foundation and holds several advanced degrees and professional certifications in accountancy and insurance.
