Amira Abdelaziz

Amira Abdelaziz is an accomplished professional in the field of artificial intelligence and data science, currently serving as an AI Research Member at RiskLab at the University of Toronto and as a Council Member of Global Women in AI at CFTE. Amira holds adjunct assistant professor positions at Saxony Egypt University and the University of Prince Edward Island, as well as at Coventry University, where courses focus on artificial intelligence. Prior experience includes roles at the Central Bank of Egypt, where Amira has served as Senior Advisor and Head of Data Science & Advanced Analytics, as well as Data Science Manager at CIB Egypt. Amira's academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Mathematics and Computer Science from Philipps Universität Marburg and a Master of Science in Information Management from The German University in Cairo, complemented by a degree in Electrical/Communications Engineering from Zagazig University.
