Christine Sourial

Christine Sourial, CISA, CISM, has over a decade of experience in information technology and auditing, currently serving as the Onsite Information Technology Supervisor in the Banking Supervision Sector at The Central Bank of Egypt since January 2010. In this role, responsibilities include conducting general and application control reviews, performing information control assessments, and ensuring adherence to system development standards and security protocols. Previous positions at The Central Bank include Business Information Security Officer and Internal Auditor, where contributions involved planning and executing risk-based audits, reporting internal control exceptions, and evaluating technical proposals for banking systems. Earlier experience includes a brief internship with British American Tobacco in the Marketing Finance Department. Christine holds a BSc in Technology Management, Finance, Information Systems, and Information Technology from The German University in Cairo.
