George Atef Georgui

George Atef Georgui serves as the Head of Digital Products & Services at the Central Bank of Egypt since May 2022. Previously, George held roles in various capacities including Head of Product Development at Banque Misr, where significant projects included the Instant Payment Network and upgrades to credit card systems. Experience also includes product management roles at Fawry Banking and Payment Technology Services and Egyptian Banks Company, contributing to remittance solutions and payment gateways. George's earlier career includes roles at Orange, overseeing payment and financial services projects, and technical support for core network operations. George holds an MBA in Marketing Management and advanced degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
