Mahmoud Taha

Mahmoud Taha, CISA, CEH, is an accomplished IT audit professional with extensive experience in leading IT audit functions across several reputable organizations. Currently serving as the Deputy Head of IT Audit at the Central Bank of Egypt since June 2020, Mahmoud has previously held the position of Head of IT Audit at both Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank - Egypt and Ahli United Bank Egypt, showcasing a strong background in IT governance and risk management. Mahmoud's career began at BDO Khaled & Co., where the role of Head Of IT Audit was undertaken for over a decade. Additionally, Mahmoud has experience in IT auditing with BDO UK LLP for a brief period. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Higher Technological Institute, completed in December 2004.
