Mohamed Shishtawy

Mohamed Shishtawy is a seasoned cybersecurity and information security professional with extensive experience in governance, risk management, and compliance. Currently serving as Head of Cybersecurity Readiness at the Central Bank of Egypt, responsibilities include leading the Cybersecurity Governance & Controls Team and overseeing assessments and audits. Previously, Shishtawy held senior roles at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank and Trusted Security Solutions, where expertise in formulating cybersecurity strategies and engaging with clients was demonstrated. Shishtawy built and led the Information Security and Compliance Office at Children's Cancer Hospital Foundation 57357 and held a key position at ALTERNA EGA overseeing Enterprise GRC & Audit Services. Educational credentials include a Doctoral Degree in Vocational Qualifications from RB College of the United Kingdom and a Professional Diploma in E-Business Management from Missouri State University.
