Safwat Sadek

Safwat Sadek is an assistant sub governor at the Central Bank of Egypt. Safwat has worked in the banking and construction industries for over six years. Safwat has a degree in architecture from the University of Cairo. Safwat began their career as a site architect with Orascom Construction, where they worked on projects around Egypt. Safwat then transitioned to EGbank, where they were responsible for opening new branches and reviewing designs to ensure they met codes and regulations. In 2016, Safwat joined Samcrete Engineers and Contractors as a project control engineer. Safwat was responsible for overseeing all aspects of project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordination. Safwat also worked as a BIM engineer, using Revit to create models and renderings. In 2019, Safwat joined CIB Egypt as an architect. Safwat is responsible for overseeing all aspects of branch projects.

Safwat Sadek reports to Sally Refaat, Sub Governor, Markets. They are on a team with Zakeya Ibrahim - Assistant Sub Governor, Markets Sector, Yasmine Abbas - Assistant Sub Governor, Markets Sector.
