Beth K. has a solid background in auditing and risk management. Beth is currently serving as the Director of Internal Audit & Risk at the Central Bank of Kenya. Prior to this role, they were the Director and Advisor to the Governor of the Central Bank of Kenya. Beth has also worked at KPMG East Africa, where they held various positions including Associate Director, Senior Manager, and Manager. Beth started their career at KPMG UK as an Assistant Manager. Overall, Beth has extensive experience in the field of auditing and has worked in both Kenya and the United Kingdom.

Beth K. is currently pursuing a Master of Commerce degree in Development Finance at the Graduate School of Business - University of Cape Town. Beth started this program sometime before 2021 but has not yet completed it. Prior to that, Beth K. attended the University of Nairobi from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance. In 2003, they also obtained a CPA (K) certification from KASNEB/ Strathmore University. In addition to their formal education, Beth K. has also completed a certification course titled "Sheryl Sandberg and Adam Grant on Option B: Building Resilience" through LinkedIn in May 2020.
