David Luusa

David Luusa has extensive work experience in the financial industry, particularly in financial markets. David currently holds the position of Director of Financial Markets at the Central Bank of Kenya since April 2020. Previously, they worked for Standard Chartered Bank, where they held various roles, including Managing Director and Head of Financial Markets for Kenya and East Africa from May 2015 to April 2020. David also served as Chair of the Kenya Advisory Council for Shining Hope for Communities (SHOFCO), an organization that combats gender inequality and extreme poverty in urban slums in Kenya. Overall, David Luusa has a strong background in financial markets and strategic leadership.
