Jared Osoro

Jared Osoro is a seasoned financial expert with extensive experience in monetary policy and credit markets. Currently serving as a Member of the Monetary Policy Committee at the Central Bank of Kenya since August 2024, Jared previously held the position of Director of Credit Markets at FSD Africa from September 2020 to November 2024. Jared's earlier roles include Director of Research and Policy and Director of the KBA Centre for Research on Financial Markets & Policy at the Kenya Bankers Association from January 2013 to August 2020, Bank Economist at the East African Development Bank from January 2000 to December 2012, and Economist at Kenya Power from May 1998 to November 1999. Jared's educational background includes studies at the University of Bradford, the University of Nairobi, and the University of Zimbabwe.
