Awadalla Abdalla Ahmed Mohamed

Awadalla Abdalla Ahmed Mohamed is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in financial systems and auditing, currently serving as the Policy and Standards Section Head at the Central Bank of Sudan (CBOS) since November 2013. In this role, Awadalla develops and updates payment systems specifications and standards, ensuring alignment with international benchmarks. Prior experience includes serving as an IS Auditor, where responsibilities involved planning audit programs and assessing risks related to financial market infrastructures, as well as managing large value payment systems as Systems Administration Section Head. Awadalla has been a Senior Executive at the Central Bank of Sudan since October 1996 and holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Khartoum.
